What is a steel frame kit home?
A kit home is a home designed and engineered off site, then delivered to your block as a package. With a steel frame kit, the structure is made from Australian steel and cut to the engineered design, so it arrives ready to assemble rather than being built from raw lengths on site.

What comes in the kit
There are two levels.
- Base kit: the shell of the home plus engineering for the building and the slab.
- Complete kit: everything in the base kit, plus windows, insulation, drawings and the NatHERS energy rating.

What the kit does not include
The kit is the home package. The work on your block is yours or your builder’s: site preparation, the slab, labour, plumbing, electrical and the internal fit out. How to get a kit priced for your land
- Choose a design. Start with our designs and floor plans, or draw your own layout in the 3D designer.
- Tell us where it is going. Send the full address and drop a pin on the map. Engineering is done for your exact site, so we need the real location.
- We price the kit. You get a kit price for your design on your site. That is the one figure we commit to.
